Annual Amsterdam conference on CSS that brings together spec writers, browser engineers, teachers and authors.
CSS Day is an annual conference held in Amsterdam that brings together developers, educators and authors to discuss the current state of CSS, upcoming features and demonstrations.
The programme is focused on front-end and CSS and can be quite technical, but it has a clear design relevance. Sessions regularly cover core concerns for interface and visual designers such as responsive and adaptive design, accessibility, motion and information architecture. Earlier years paired theme days on UX, UI and HTML with the main CSS day.
Despite the name, it expanded to a two-day format since 2022.

Lately, I've been talking websites into existence. Not metaphorically, but actually sitting in important meetings with people — clients, collaborators, my wife, friends, neighbors — watching real websites materialize in front of us as we converse.
