SpeakersList is a curated, editorial platform for design, product, AI, and technology speakers. We help organisers, teams, and podcast hosts find thoughtful design voices, and we help speakers present their work and point of view clearly.

SpeakersList is not a marketplace, a booking platform, an agency, a broker, or a guarantee of speaker availability. We do not handle bookings, fees, contracts, or travel.

Anyone can browse public speaker profiles. Speaker accounts are intended for invited or approved speakers. Information you give us when requesting access, claiming a profile, or editing one should be accurate and your own to share.

Don’t impersonate someone else, don’t submit content you don’t have the rights to, and don’t try to bypass access controls, scrape the platform, or use it to send spam.

Speakers are responsible for the accuracy of the information they provide. Admins may help prepare, edit, or maintain profiles as part of the curation process.

As a curated directory, we may prepare speaker entries using publicly available professional information. We publish a speaker’s profile only with that person’s permission, which may be given outside SpeakersList (for example by email) and does not require creating an account. We also maintain curated listings of past events, which may include publicly available professional information about the speakers who appeared, such as their name, role, company, and talk title. If you’re featured and would like your information corrected or removed, contact us and we’ll handle it.

You can edit your profile from your account, and you can request that we hide or remove it.

SpeakersList curates the platform. We may decline, edit, hide, or remove profiles or content for quality, safety, or legal reasons. Where appropriate, we may explain the reason for a curation decision.

Approved profiles are public. Drafts, in-review submissions, preview profiles, and hidden / declined profiles are not.

You keep ownership of the content on your profile: your bio, topics, articles, talks, links, and uploaded images.

By submitting content to SpeakersList, you give us permission to display, host, resize, crop, cache, and distribute that content as part of running and promoting the platform. This includes generating thumbnails, optimised image sizes, and link previews. After content or a profile is removed, we stop displaying it on the platform, though copies may remain for a limited time in backups, logs, or cached systems.

You confirm that you have the rights to any images you upload (including headshots and photo album images) and that the content you submit doesn’t infringe anyone else’s rights.

Profiles often include links and embedded media: YouTube videos, Vimeo videos, Spotify or Apple Podcasts episodes, articles, LinkedIn profiles. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, and we don’t control what they show or how they handle your data.

You’re responsible for the account you sign in to (via email and password, or via Google or LinkedIn OAuth) and for keeping its credentials safe. If you think your account has been accessed without your permission, get in touch via our contact form and we’ll help.

We don’t sell placement, rankings, or visibility. If we ever introduce paid features, they will be optional and clearly labelled.

Speakers can request account or profile deletion from their account settings, or via our contact form. Our team handles removal manually within the timeframe stated in the confirmation email.

The platform may change. Profiles may be added, edited, removed, or temporarily unavailable. We do our best to keep information accurate, but we don’t guarantee that any profile is up to date or that a speaker is available to take on engagements. Any arrangement with a speaker is between you and that speaker.

SpeakersList is provided “as is” and we can’t promise it will always be available, error-free, or perfectly secure. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we limit our liability for losses arising from your use of the site to what’s reasonable and proportionate.

If something goes wrong, please contact us first, and we’ll do our best to sort it out before anything more formal.

The Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Netherlands.

We may update these terms as the product evolves. When we make material changes we will update the effective date at the top of this page.
