Semi Permanent gathers the creative industries for programmes of keynote talks, panel discussions, workshops, exhibitions and installations spanning design, art, film and popular culture.

Running since the early 2000s, it has built a reputation for pairing established creators with emerging voices and for collaborations that spill beyond the lecture stage.

Rather than sitting in one place, the festival travels, staging editions in cities across Australia, New Zealand, Asia and beyond, alongside a publishing arm and creative studio work.
