Conference gathering designers and developers around design, code and open source, organised by the team behind the open-source design tool Penpot.
Penpot Fest is a conference that brings designers and developers together around the themes of design, code and open source. It is organised by the team behind Penpot, the open-source web-based design tool, and draws a community interested in bridging design and engineering workflows.
The programme features keynotes, hands-on workshops and networking time, with recent editions themed around refining the designer and developer workflow. Talks are published online after the event.
Held annually since 2023, the event has moved between Spanish cities including Barcelona and Madrid. It sits close to a vendor-community event given its tie to a single tool, but it operates as a ticketed multi-track conference with external speakers across the wider design and open-source community.
