AIGA's national design conference, gathering designers and creative leaders around the practice, business and future of design.
The AIGA Design Conference is the national gathering staged by AIGA, the professional association for design in the United States. It draws designers, educators and creative leaders to consider the practice of design, its wider cultural role and the direction of the profession.
Programming spans mainstage keynotes, fireside chats, panels, dialogues and workshops, with themes that have included Margins in 2024 and Design plus Performance in 2025. The event has run both as an in-person gathering, such as the 2025 edition in Los Angeles, and as a fully online conference in 2024.
Its scope reaches beyond visual craft to questions of leadership, inclusion, experimentation and the changing conditions of design work, which distinguishes it from more narrowly technical events.
